He followed closely behind, eyes narrowing to see better in the dark. When the man continued to follow Kaitlyn, it was more than clear that his intentions were not at all innocent.
The mysterious crook raised his hand and quickly grabbed the female by her shoulder, threatening to harm her further with the scissors he had in his hand if she won’t cooperate. At first, Damien thought she might be able to get him off - then he remembered she was drunk.
Wasting no more time, he stepped in and turned the crook around, punching him square in the jaw and knocking his head against the concrete wall. He seemed daze as he tried to fight back, but Damien only tossed him aside like yesterday’s garbage and kicked him in the crotch. A bit more squabble went on until the crook just ran away, his jacket on fire as Damien laughed. He wasn’t any better though, his cheek scraped and bloody and his ankle sprained.
“Y’alright?” he asked the female, limping over to her to check if she had been hurt.
{ ♔ } - - - - - The girl panicked as she felt a hand grab her by the shoulder, her heart skipping a beat. After being turned, the trouble doubled for her upon seeing a sharp pair of scissors pointed at her, clearly for her if she did something the man didn’t like. Kaitlyn could have pushed him off or even do a stunt, there’s a reason why else she was called Cat, but she was too drunk to do so and the pain in her head throbbed harder.
She was about to shout for help and that was when the man was yanked from behind. The girl backed away in surprise as she caught her breathe only to see Damien punch the man in the jaw. This further made her panic as she stumbled back. A small fight ensued but of course, Damien won and resulted her attacker scurrying away on fire.
Kaitlyn’s gaze switched to the blond as she she managed a chuckle though she was still at disbelief. She let out a breathe, trying to get over what she just witnessed and experienced moments earlier. “Y-yes, I’m alright; not a scratch. But you … you’re bleeding! And limping! Are you alright?” her eyes widened as she exclaimed, creeping a bit closer. “Jesus, I don’t even know how to thank you after you saved me. But you have to go to a hospital or something. But how can I thank you?”
