Of Gardens and Tea

as-madasahatter:

“Ah, well, if you fell, that was more than likely the Rabbit Hole. You see, most of the time someone comes here, it’s through the Rabbit Hole. Not many can get here any other way. There are many ways out, only a few I know of, but there’s a limited number on ways in.” Hatter stepped closer to her, his eyes alight with curiosity. Pausing for a moment to survey her, he finally nodded his head.

“Yes, I suppose that my name is curious. There are quite a bunch of curious names, but some do not belong to very curious people. You think that you’ve found someone to talk of tea parties and the politics of why eating with a Rocking Horse Fly is a bad thing, but then you come to find out that such a thing as curiosity does not exist in that person!”

“It’s always a shame really. But it is of no matter. So, Cat of England, are you a curious sort or non-curious sort?”

{ ♔ } - - - - -     “Rabbit Hole?” she asked, incredulous. Was she dreaming or did she really fall down a rabbit hole? Kaitlyn shook her head. “But that seems impossible …” she stated before closing her eyes for a second. This was going to be a bit difficult for her to absorb no matter how unbelievable yet fascinating her situation was. But weirdly, the last thing she wanted right now was a way out.

As the brunette listened to him, she simultaneously tilted her head and gave a grin, not actually being able to follow his words though she tried her best to understand. “So, are you one? Are you a curious person? Or not? And what’s a Rocking Horse Fly?” she chuckled, a bit embarrassed.

“And I am the curious sort. Always had, always will.” she answered.
