“Our strengths differ. While he has the brute strength that all of Asgard worships and admires in a man, I do not. My mind is my weapon as well as my magic, which are seen as feminine aspects. Though they are indeed strengths, there is no honors in them, according to Asgardian culture. It is unfortunate really, to be a master of something more powerful than any man, yet no one seems to understand the true power of it,” he said to her, shrugging his shoulders after he was finished.

“So you see, it is favoritism on a grand scale, but I am sure you’re used to such things. Your society is no different than mine when it comes to feminine arts. In fact, I should think that we would understand each other quite well…”he paused, letting the thought stew in his mind for a moment.

"You’re an intelligent woman of a wealthy family I presume, does it not bother you to be cast aside for a man who perhaps has the same or lesser qualities, yet his sex makes him the preferable choice?”

{ ♔ } - - - - -     “So … your powers’ difference, culture, and favoritism. When it comes to favoritism, it is honestly plain annoying. But culture is hard to change and if you’d want people to realize your true power, it’d take a lot. Is this a reason why you want to change Asgard? Because it seems rather unfair?” she asked, her curiosity piqued further with their topic.

“And yes, I can relate to your situation. I’ve lost count over the times I was pushed aside because of a male. Once, I was in some kind of painting contest and though my work was better, the audience paid not a thought to mine and favored a younger man’s and the experience was not pleasant.” she narrated with a shrug of her shoulders.

“So, there. Yes, it bothers me a lot. And since then, I learned that life’s simply unfair too.”
