“See! It’s far better to be on the same page about the incident,” Avita cheered, delighted that the other woman had gone along with it. "This way there’s no grovelling for the title of ‘my fault’ after you say sorry and they tell you they’re sorry also, and it just becomes a vicious cycle…"
People were far too…submissive about meeting strangers, even worse about meeting them on accident. What was wrong with bumping into someone? Unless of course you spilled hot coffee down their front or pushed them into oncoming traffic. Then you should be sorry. But no harm, no foul. Right?
”I’m Avita, it’s been a pleasure bumping into you.”
{ ♔ } - - - - - “I guess it is.” she chuckled, scratching her head. “It is a lot better because I can really relate to that cycle. Multiple of times has that happened to me that they get really awkward and I have to admit it’s bets a bit annoying sometimes.” she explained, giving the woman a small smile. Whoever she is, she’s not like the others; she’s different.
“Nice to meet you, Avita. I’m Kaitlyn."
