Mel asked the woman what she wanted to get as she made her way back behind the balcony, which was her usual place. She had to go and get some glasses back from a table since Dana, her co-worker, was sick and could not come to work that day. Fortunately, it was rather quiet so no harm done. - Well I’m afraid today is the perfect day for boredom rather than chilling. Today is pretty dead. - She commented, taking a cloth and drying out the glasses that were already cleaned up in the sink behind her.
- Never saw you around here, are you new or just exploring new bars to come by more often? - She asked with a smile. Might as well strike a conversation, time would go by faster anyway.
{ ♔ } - - - - - ”You’re right, it is pretty boring here.“ she said in agreement, pressing her lips. Kaitlyn looked around the bar, noticing that there was only one person with her and the barmaid. Yet it seemed that the man was sound asleep, judging by the snores coming from his spot. The woman could not help but sigh and rub her eyes.
At her question, Kaitlyn returned the smile with an answer. "Just exploring new bars. I seldom go to one and if I do, I just go to the nearest I can find. And after I- never mind, I just spotted this across the street and, yeah, came in to chill but instead got bored. No offense.”
