The light hesitation on her sentence send el’s senses into overdrive for a second. She noticed everything, small details like that made her suspicious. But this woman seemed to be pretty normal, maybe she was just having a terrible day, who knows. -None taken, I’m quite bored myself. - Mel admited and giggled.
- He’s been the most exciting thing happening since my shift started. - She said, pointing at the man snoring against the counter. - In a normal day I’d tell him to go home and sleep it off but today is so quiet I just let him be.
{ ♔ } - - - - - A smile crossed Kaitlyn’s face at the woman’s reply. Her eyes followed the finger pointed at the man against the counter, the source of the only sound, the snores, in the bar besides their whispers. “I can see that.” she replied, chuckling. “Proof how really boring it is.”
Her line of sight was diverted by man who suddenly entered the bar. Kaitlyn was too lazy to be alert and let it pass regardless of who and what the person might be. “Looks like you got someone new.” remarked the brunette, gesturing the stranger.
