“I’m glad you agree. A lot of people think it’s silly, that I’m so connected to nature,“ Eira admitted to her friend without hesitation. Normally she’d be careful about admitting these things, but she did not care for being careful when she had a friend to confide in and know that there would be little to no judgement and probably a few laughs.
The spirit had to hand it to Kait, that was for sure. The ghost had her going for a moment there, totally convinced of the fate of her friend yet totally prepared to do what she must, and then she broke into giggles and Eira felt silly but felt she deserved it given the scare she’d given Kait earlier.
In a bout of unsurpassed glee, Eira took Kait’s hands for her own and began to dance in a circle. She wasn’t entirely sure how she did it, perhaps it was because Kait too was a part of nature, but Eira could spin her also. “Oh the places I could take you, the things I could show you….the stores we could ransack to make your garden as beautiful as you.”
{ ♔ } - "Silly? Why, they should even be thankful for having a sweet and caring girl like you who’s linked to Mother Nature.” she answered, tilting her head to the side, offering a smile.
Muffled laughter emanated from the ghost and when Eira got hold of it, she let it all out, laughing with her dear friend. Well, eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. But this time, it was harmless pranks on each other.
The blonde’s sudden moves made Kaitlyn go along with her in the dance though the sulky part of her wanted to stop; the other, the old part of her, told the girl to go along with her friend. Truth be told, ever since she met Eira, the old Kaitlyn was somehow awakened, probably because of Eira’s presence since that part of her that had been deep in slumber for more than a century was like the blonde in many ways: cheerful, kind, bright, and more.
“Oh, Eira!” chuckled the brunette. “Well, be my guide now. Lead me wherever you want.” she answered, a smile crossing her wan face.
